Migration from 3.4 to 5.0 with migration script

The migration script performs necessary migration operations between the same data storage interface installations — KD 3.4 DB to KD 5.0 DB.

The migration script is available in the <install_dir>/Kronodoc/KRONO/bin directory of Kronodoc 3.4 installation:

migrateto40.sh

 
Note1: No parameters are required, the script identifies the source schema version (3.4, 3.4.2 or 3.4.5.0) from the database schema. The script gives an error message if the schema info is not available.
 
Note2: The script modifies the database schema, and the structure of the projects directory on the file system (backup is required)

Database migration script in /Kronodoc/KRONO/bin/sql/scripts/

File system migration script in /Kronodoc/KRONO/bin/

Configuration insertion script adddbparams.pm for configuration parameter adding, in /Kronodoc/KRONO/bin/
